Ava’s Pathways is a dedicated to partnering with women to uplift and empower through life’s trials and tribulations. Our organization offers a range of services for women providing activities and group coaching targeting transforming mindset and behaviors. Our resources aim to empower individuals affected by injustices, domestic abuse, divorce, and more, providing the support needed to propel them forward on their journey toward a better life.

Overview of Founder Haseena Shaheed-Jackson
With fire for her mission and unshakeable faith, Haseena Shaheed-Jackson, has known for decades that her purpose is simple. Help others see beyond the physical sight to see more with the spirit using hope and faith. Haseena says “Do not allow anyone or anything to place you in a corner causing you to doubt and question your value and purpose.”
Haseena is a lifelong learner. She is currently attending Liberty University obtaining a Master’s in Human Services Counseling. Estimated completion is September 2024. She currently has a Master’s in Business Administration, serves as an Area Director in Toastmasters International and earned the designation as Distinguished Toastmaster. Haseena has published three books Created to Soar, Messages from the Spirit and Reflections from Within. When she isn’t boldly living her purpose and helping others to do the same, you’ll find Haseena volunteering with her church or spending time with her furry babies – Mercedes and Lexus.
Overview of Co-Founder Alice Pryor
Alice Pryor is not just a survivor; she’s an indomitable force of resilience, courage, and unwavering optimism. Her journey through life’s challenges has been marked by a remarkable blend of hope and internal strength, turning every obstacle into an opportunity for growth.
Having weathered storms and triumphed over adversities, Alice attributes much of her strength to the invaluable mentorship she’s received along the way. These mentorship experiences have not only shaped her character but have fueled her passion for paying it forward. Alice is committed to sharing her hard-earned wisdom with those who are ready to invest in their own lives, guiding them towards their own paths of triumph.
As a mother of two accomplished adult children, Alice understands the complexities of balancing personal and professional life. Her familial bonds serve as a constant source of inspiration and motivation in her mission to empower others.

Vice PresidentCo-Founder of Ava’s Pathways. Alice is a Business Relationship Manager BRMP, Author, Consultant and Speaker. Renowned for her strategic acumen, she is a senior-level collaborator who actively shapes business strategies aligning with core values to foster sustainable growth and innovation.
Marie Ventura
SecretaryMarie has over 30 years of experience in finance and accounting. She has held various positions in Corporate America including CPA, controller and financial consultant. About five years ago, Marie exited Corporate America to pursue her passion to help individuals with their personal finances. When not working, Marie is spending time with her two special needs children.
Aloni Harris
TreasuryAloni is dedicated to empowering clients to achieve their financial goals. With a background as a seasoned Loan Officer, she specializes in facilitating successful real estate transactions, particularly for minority and women investors. Aloni is deeply committed to fostering diversity, wealth-building, and positive community impact.
